One way in which Wickes gain an advantage is through independent stock counts performed by Orridge for a range of 6,000+ products. In doing so it provides an up-to-date stock file and insight into areas of potential weakness, not only in-store but within the entire supply chain for a portfolio of over 190 outlets. Wickes inventory is crucial to delivering the stock loss strategy to which Orridge provides a pivotal role in delivering confidence in stock cycles, ensuring shrinkage reduction actions that can be aligned with assurance.

I hope to see you there.

Regards

Charlotte :hehe:

Retail Supply Chain Conference

The Retail Supply Chain Conference which was due to be held on the 18th March 2010 at the London Marriott has now been postponed until later on this year.

Orridge / Calvin Klein were expecting to present at this event with the theme of:

Laying the supply chain bare….
Calvin Klein reduces shrink through outsourced stocktakes

Should you wish to speak to a member at Orridge personally with regards to stocktaking within your supply chain then please let me know.

With kind regards,
Charlotte

Retail Supply Chain

Is anyone going to the Retail Supply Chain Conference in London on 18th March?

Charlotte :D

Encourage reporting of internal theft

If you have any advise, tips I would appreciate it.

I have recently discovered a form of internal theft to which there is no easy solution to prevent it in the near future.
